Science Night CES art teacher, Andi Hoskins, was delighted to win the CHS “Circleville Tigers” basket in the Chinese auction at the CCSF “Raise your Paw” auction on Feb. 25. Ralph Ankrom was the winning bidder of the tiger created by woodcarver by Josh Carte of Hocking Hills. When the bidding was over Ralph generously donated the wood carving to Circleville City Schools’ Superintendent Jonathan Davis to be housed in a CHS showcase. The spirit of giving is alive and well in Circleville! CHS staff member, Donna Hoffman, proudly displays the flower arrangement from Wagner’s Flowers that she won. Auctioneer Brian Wisecup and auction co-chair Justin Jacobs keep the momentum going during the CCSF auction. Thanks to Auctioneer Ernie Weaver and Brian for their help in making the evening a huge success for CCSF. Sherry Russell’s donation of a one hour group belly dancing lesson was won by some adventurous Circleville teachers at the CCSF “Raise Your Paw” Auction on Feb. 25. Sunrise Rotary hosted an Education Foundation Forum at the March 14 meeting. Speakers from the four Pickaway County education foundations shared information regarding the work of their programs.
