Once again the Circleville High School Robotics Team competed in the National Robotics Competition in Marion, Ohio in April. Under the tutelage of Josh Thomas, Engineering Instructor at CHS, the students entered six events and placed in three of them. Drew Vance placed 1st in the Autonomous Vehicle Challenge; Alex Ell placed 3rd in the Mini Sumo event; and the team of Jarrett Quincel and Drew Vance placed 3rd in the “Internet of Things” Coding Challenge. Circleville City School Foundation(CCSF) is proud to support these young scientists as they are challenged to develop robots that perform specific tasks, and in the process are setting themselves up for future careers in engineering.
